Seiko lands in Milan

Seiko lands in Milan

It has taken 140 years but at last, Italy too now has its Seiko boutique. The Japanese watch company was founded in 1881 in Tokyo's Ginza district by a certain Kintaro Hattori, a 22-year-old man full of dreams and the desire to create something new.

The name chosen for the brand already says it all: Seiko actually means precision and success. On the basis of these two elements, Hattori laid the foundations of what is now a giant, the Seiko Watches Corporation, which has a network of 430 dealers in Italy alone, and 14 single-brand boutiques in Europe, including the one just inaugurated in Milan's fashion district.

Seventy square meters at number 52 Via Della Spiga, arranged into a display area and a meeting room, plus a more intimate and reserved sales area. It is here that the Prospex, King Seiko, Presage, Astron and 5 Sports collections are presented and enhanced in every detail, so that customers can better appreciate the design and the preciousness of the dials, the result of meticulous craftsmanship and cutting-edge technologies such as Kinetic, Spring Drive and Solar GPS.
